Sean Kean, Court Clerk Juvenile Court Clerk Mr. Kean was appointed as the Juvenile Court Clerk in August 2004.  He was born in Port Jervis, NY and moved to the Whitfield County area after he graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, TN where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Mr. Kean has been in state and county government for approximately five years.  Previously, he worked for the Murray County Department of Family and Children Services as a child protective services investigator for one year.  He was then hired in 2001 as the Juvenile Court Administrator in Murray County where he served Judge Blaylock for three years.  His experience and training include: Child Protective Services Basic Training I and II, Certificate of Completion for the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges – Justice Management, Certificate of Completion for the National Judicial College – Disseminating Court Public Information, and member of the Child Fatality Review Committee in Murray County, GA from 2003 – 2004.
