Mr. Staten is serving his first term as Whitfield County Commissioner. Lifelong resident of Whitfield County. He is married to Deidre Staten, and has three children; Carter, age 10, McKinley, age 8 and Cole, age 2.
Certified Public Accountant in February 2001. Has worked at Ed Staten CPA, P.C. Accounting Frim.
Graduate of Dalton High School, attended Young Harris College for two years while playing baseball. Graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in accounting.
